The machine is made up of four main sections made of AISI 304 stainless steel: product loading unit, carried out through a vibrating surface on which the product to be processed is deposited incision unit, suitable for making a circular incision useful for detaching the peel and the underlying film scalding unit, made through a tank containing boiling water in which the product is made to pass for a set time in order to make the peel explode transfer belt product from scalding tank to manual shucking bench The previously washed product is discharged into the loading hopper which, with its vibrating movement, conveys the chestnuts one at a time towards the machine which causes the incision, where a special blade system carries out a small and adjustable circular depth cut on the shell. Once the incision has taken place, the chestnut continues its journey, falling into the scalding machine, where it stops for the desired time using a rotating basket, and then falls onto a conveyor belt which pushes the chestnut onto a sorting bench where the operator with a manual operation separates the two peels from the fruit, then unloading each one into its container.
